im with ya...edge is gettin shipped off soon as i get it off..sat probly. the pump has almost 88000 on it.
i and most everyone else is stumped..i mean..even with just the inj and the turbo i wouldve thought id have gotten more than 40 hp over stk. the edge added 40 more and then the smarty edge stack was the same....im gonna get a stealth cover when i pull the edge just to try it. im sure the tap is good but if i end up changin the pump ill be using on of them instead of a positap anyways....i dont know..im tired of with it and lawyas being disappointed. i drag raced a gtx for 10 yrs and never had issues that couldnt be readily figured out...this vp pump that ya cant test is a real pos ..if id have known when i got it

that right there is a big part of your problem, with an auto, yyou will get a inaccurate reading by letting it go into overdrive and dynoing in OD. i suggest turning the OD and re-dynoing. you can loose a ton on the top end by running in OD, mark at TST said its common for people to run it in overdrive and loose 40-50 hp. you want to dyno at a 1:1 ratio, thats why on a 5 spd, dynoing is done in 4th gear, or 5th gear on a 6 spd.

Dieselbeef,have you checked to see if your apps is all messed up or something?
I know that my Edge,back before I got pissed and sold it..it used to make more power at like 3/4 throttle than it would to the wood.
adjusting the APPS is free,worth a shot.
You are not even getting any real smoke,and that's just plain whacked.

i talked to mark at TST today, i know it aint edge, but mark helped to design the 24valve for cummins and was one of the first, if not the first to develop programers for it, anyway he suggests scanning the ECM for codes as well, scan it without the comp on first, then with the comp connected and turned all the way up. he said it sounds like to him its fueling/timing issue, especially with the torque vs hp level you hit. could be electronic, could be mechanical as in the VP44.
