Check out Kool Vue's website they may have some that fit the '97. Just google it and you'll find it. I've been looking for the least expensive way to get power/heated towing mirrors on my rig since I got a camper, and I don't want to do the clamp on style.

Hilblee I got mine from the dealership, but you can do the same from a junkyard. I had to get a set of manual mirrors. Somethin about the harnesses or something is different, but mine went on just fine and lined up great. I can tell you one thing, they're a hell of a lot better than that factory junk that sits so close to the truck you can't see a damn thing out of em. To me it was worth EVERY penny spent to get the flip up style.

the extra bracket you need is a little plate that goes on the inside of the door (under the interior panel) that sandwiches thedoor for added support due to the extra weight hanging of the outside and we bought them from the same place on ebay:U:
