while cruising down the highway, EGTs varied from the terrain from 775-1100 degrees, which is excellent by the way for my truck! on the dyno all out never got over 1400... like Zach was saying, you can run whatever injector, but if it happens to break and you want Mike to warranty the pump, you have to run his injectors.. Mike sets the lift in the injector and also the way the fuel is delivered through the tip is the difference between all of them.. his hurricane 2s are a great injector in my opinion! in my setup, which may be different with yalls, cruising down the highway, i had hardly any hazing, but when you matted it, oohhh man, they poored the smoke! and with the old dragon flows, they hazed quite a bit.. Mikes also had better throttle response then the dragons flows...

ok fellas my pump blew because the injectors didnt have the correct lift in them they flowed alot and then some but they were wrong for my setup. and caused the cam ring to bust out the side of the housing. mike injectors are a completly different style of injector they are a stack injector and have a 180 degree spray angle unlike the 135 degree of the stockers. the nedel is modified and the bodies are also modified. they have out performed 7 x 18's by 60 hp. i drive my truck every day and have pulled a few trailers (nothing over 10k lbs) and all i can say is that this pump loves to work the harder you push it the better it works, with water meth the spearco and the bd special i cant break 1400 degrees with the box set on kill. crusing on the high way was 750 to 1000 degrees and this was from laramie wy to wichita ks so from 7200 feet to 1300 and no issues. i have close to 6 or 8k miles on the new pump with no issues, and yes in my opinion the hurricanes are woth the money. this is coming from some one who has had both

i have 5 and it only surges going down hill with engine load at 0% and it dosnet always do it. as far as i know i was the first to get rev 5 the previous pump was 1 or 2, also i got 18mpg pulling my uhaul which weighed in at a decent amount (lots of crap in it) at 75 mph the entire way

ok, i was curious.. i have the 4.5 in mine. and i have definetaly noticed a better fuel mileage increase! i bet id notice a lot more if i would stay outta it too, ! mine will surge at any speed with light throttle, but will quickly go away when i increase the throttle. i might also reset my apps to see if that will take out some of this..
