There's a guy over on CompD thats pissed off at Mike, he bought into all the hype spent $3000, and makes less power then his SO pump. He's on his third pump says there all junk everyone of them made less power.

Thats Steve, and he is as nice and honest as they come. He was nice enough to let me try the pump/injectors/tubes in my truck and yep...its junk.

Its like any other "HRVP" in that it makes power without a wiretap box, but the wire tap does nothing for it. My truck with smarty runs awesome up to 3k and is prolly making about 550 without the redline (i made 562 with SO and redline) but at 3k it starts breaking up and it just sucks, I cant run the gears out, and power is DEAD at 3100 rpms. If this pump went to 4k it would be awesome for making power without the wiretap. but with the redline turned on it feels pretty much the same except it starts breaking up sooner than 3k.

I just went over there and read that post. That really sucks. The pump may be junk to yall but it was very responsive on my truck. Even with the wire tap. The sm arty did not hing for my truck but tst and adrenaline sure did. I went from 427hp SOVP with jammer 150's tst smarty... to 541 monsterVP, coaltrain sticks, adrenaline. I guess it is a hit and miss kinda thing.

My last post kinda sounded like i was being a jerk. I wasnt intending to just a long few days. Here's what im saying though. Mach 8's are known to loose power on fuel only compaired to another set of sticks. with mach 6's i made 600+ multiple times, with mach 8's I make 599. with a set of jammer 150's and a 64/12 a customers truck made 499 on a so pump. I guess what im trying to get at is, for the extra money. These pumps just are not worth the extra money. There's been no proof what so ever that things go above or beyond what a SO pump will do. Shoot my so has 50000+ miles and has been ran without fuel pressure multiple times. the truck that made 499 was a HO pump thats never been changed. Running a factory LP.
As I said in my other post on comp d, I see these pumps as someone saw the ability to hype up a pump that was in fact no better than any other pump with more failures, turned it into a great pump that could make 1,000+ and never fail. He hyped it up through vendors , of course the vendors are going to inflate numbers and talk about how good it is,

You figure he probably make $1,000+ on a pump, his vendors make $200.00-$500.00 a pump (yes, I can prove it, It's a fact) no counting injectors, connector tubes an so on....So here's what im saying..It seems like someone has taken advantage of the lacking VP design and made a killing on it. By the time everyone knows its a scam and hates him , he'll have made his money and care less! It's kinda like the P-pumps, Someone who knows what their doing can make HUGE power on a p-pump. but without knowing what your doing and without control of the fuel in extremely small adjustments a P-pump will over fuel the charger, Almost flood a truck , or not make decent power on a dyno because the fuel comes on too quick . Thats why everyone that makes big power runs a afc unless its a sleddie or drag truck. This pump has PLENTY of fuel, It's delivery system is unable to control the fueling properly to make good power. the Record for a monster fuel only was 754, with their own injectors...within 3 dyno pulls the pump popped it's wad. the truck HAS NOT been back on the dyno to back the numbers up. The number were then taken from a dyno known to read high and a bogus correction factor added too the to up the hype.
If the truck went on a dynojet or mustang, I would guess the truck would make 680-712.
But it only lasted three dyno runs....WHATS THE POINT......you pull out of your driveway, nail it for 5 miles have it towed back everytime you drive it?

I Agree with that 100% I said on one post on Comp D I cant really aruge their worth the money because i traded a ton of stuff to obtain mine. I can say that is a great step up from the SOvp (on my truck atleast). I see what you mean about flooding the truck. If i dont throttle it soft enough i will damn near stall out on fuel and smoke. When i'm spoolin and on the top end though....I can pull on most cars and trucks on the highway.
