2001 2wd Quad Cab Long Bed FASS 150 pics
Hello,
I just finished the install of my FASS 150 w/draw straw yesterday. I guess maybe the 01 is different as I didnt see any video that showed my 2nd gen tank type. Anyhow, I didnt feel I had enough room to put the bulkhead right next to the sending unit, I was worried about the corners being to close and the oring not sealing so I put in the the most forward hump in the tank. The fitting included would not clear so I had to buy two 90 degree (street) elbows and two AN w/push lock. As you can see in the pics it cleared with the elbows and AN's. Anyway, just wanted to give this info that I discovered as it might help someone in the future. NOW comes the fun part, I will be installing my IQuad Bluetooth in about an hour!!!!! https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.die...eea315a340.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.die...cdb84aafdf.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.die...84efae596c.jpg |
Hello,
Just wanted to say the FASS 150 install is doing well still. NO issues what so ever. I also upgraded the exhaust to 5" diamond eye with the 4" down pipe, w/muffler and it sounds really good. Its actually much quieter then I thought it would be. Next on the list is a new turbo and injectors. I would like to be 400-500 hp, no clue what combination would be good for an automatic that does not tow much, its more of an everyday driver hot diesel truck. Any suggestions are welcome. |
