Air Dog 150

i have an airdog 150 and i did not install it yet, i am worried that it will be to much for my truck, i was wondering if it will harm my truck in anyway because it is stock, it says the pumps for moderate to extreme hp, and i have a stock truck other than exhaust and bhaf, i plan on doing other work to it so i got the 150, and i want to put it on now before im replacing lift pumps and vp44s, so i just wanted to know if it will hurt my truck if i put it on in stock condition..... also what psi are the air dogs set at when they sell them, i was told 15psi, but im not sure, what can the vp44 handle.....thanks

Any excess pressure will just be returned to the tank so your not gonna hurt anything. Since you have a guage installed your gonna find out real quick what pressure it is set at. You paid good money for that that thing, throw it on and BOMBS AWAY.

it wont make more than 15psi, and it hold pretty good, they but if you want more pressure there is an easy way to fix that.

There is a pressure regulator with a 15psi spring in the 24v air dog, anything over 15 psi and the pressure will be relieved through the return like back to the tank, and when you get on it it flows 150gph to keep your vp happy.

Like the guys have said, it won't hurt anything. The fuel which is not needed will be returned to the tank & pressure is gonna be around 16psi out the box. You are gonna go to start the truck after the install & be surprised when you can't hear the pump run, this is normal. Just a heads up. Airdogs are very quiet & smooth operating.:U:

If you dont want it....i'll take it. hehe. The Stock lift pump WILL hurt your truck just think of that if you get worried.
