Isspro Gauges
how do u hook a isspro fuel pressure gauge up to your stock fuel set up on an 02 dodge
Did you buy a kit with a fuel pressure isolator?
need a tapped banjo bolt also.
yes i have an isolator, i dont understand that whoile deal either the directions suck!
on an 02, i believe you unbolt the banjo bolt on the inlet side of the VP44, then you replace it with the tapped banjo bolt that comes in the kit, torque it done to specs(cant remember off the top of my head) and then screw in the sensor into the tapped banjo bolt, hook up you wires, bleed your fuel system and start the truck. should be pretty simple, i know those instructions they give really do suck.:argh::c:
Make sure you get as much of the air out of the tube that goes from the Isolator to the Fuel Pressure Gauge.
There is a check valve next to the bango bolt that you can remove the valve stem from and tap onto the pump right there.
For a basic install - have a look at this thread:

where can u get this banjo bolt and the valve at? they are not in the kit
A tapped banjo bolt is available from ANY of our Sponsors or from any performance diesel shop.
If you cant find one - you can get tapped banjo bolt and a needle valve from here (as well as just about any other fitting would ever need): www.vulcanperformance.com |
