Another injector thread

I know this subject has been discussed too much already, I have read countless posts and still I am undecided on which injector to go with, I am trying to find the Best MPG injector for heavy towing.
At the moment I'm leaning towards buying a set of F1 Mach 1.6
There's a lot of guys that swear by DDP injectors, F1 injectors, CCP, DAP, and rv's
I would love to hear Opinions From people that owned At least two of these injector brands.:pca1:

I have not ran everyone elses injectors but I do know that there are some good builder and good product out there.

Of course I am partial and think we have a great product. Here is why:

Holes are enlarged then smoothed and enlarged for additional flow and balancing using EXTRUDE HONING (usually only a small increase of 15-20% to not deform the nozzle orifice and alter the spray pattern or oval the nozzle orifice which could wash down the cylinder wall). DAP injectors are set apart from most of the competition by the flow match process which uses hydraulic fluid at 1500PSI/100BAR at 40* Celsius. This is similar to how the Common Rail injectors are tested. They are labeled for flow and matched to .03LPM. Other shops use air pressure at 50psi to approximate flow to a much lesser degree of flow matching.

Moderate injectors 12v 5x.012, 7x.011, 24v 125-150HP have small modification to the tip to get faster response and more flow where the pintle is slightly ground and tapered 10 thousandths.
Larger injectors (200hp for 24v and 5x.014 or 7x.012 and larger) Have modified bodies to increase flow as well. 12v have the EDGE FILTERS removed and the 24v have a larger feed passage. This will allow for more fuel and greater power.

Rebuild process includes dis-assembly, sonic cleaning, inspecting for cracks and rust, Replacing worn components, lapping sealing surfaces and pintle/nozzle if needed, matching pop off pressure to approximately 5 BAR. DAP recommends using Bosch bodies on the 12v and 24v as they are high quality.

I like my F1 injectors but I have nothing to compare them to. The shop I use highly recommended them. It was a tough decision to justify the cost though. My fuel economy didn't change but I have a little bit of a heavy foot too. Very noticeable difference in the truck. Idles much smoother. Big difference in power too. I'm at 1300' elevation, so the air is good where I am at. My intention was to add a turbo when time permits. I have plenty of fuel right now for just the single. Still though, with the edge on the lower levels, no smoke, runs clean. In the winter, I run smaller, narrower tires (less load) and I can even run the edge at 5 with no major smoke or drama (unless I of course floor it). I usually leave it on 3 in the winter. 1 or 2 in the summer.
