do compounds help on low end or only top end?

For the truck in my signature, I'm debating adding another turbo, maybe a S400 or similar. I'm curious on where I'll feel the added power, in other words what rpm range will this add noticeable power? Will it be around or north of 2K or so? Will it be fairly smooth power? I plow with the truck often and tow snowmobiles with it (often in snow) that is why I am a bit concerned. I hate to admit it, but sometimes that extra power can get me into trouble! As it is now, I have no issue, I just dial the edge to zero but there's still plenty of power even at that and with 4 studded snows to get me in (minor) trouble if I'm not nice and smooth on the throttle!!!

you're going to feel the power in the higher RPM's.. 1800+, it'll take a little bit for that big S400 to light, but once it does.. hang on.:c:

Sorry for the thread hijack,

But what would you suggest for a top turbo for towing with this nearly identical setup?
Or per say, what two turbos would be just under the S400? Ht3B?
