High Fuel Pressure
Just bought a 2000 24v with a FASS 150 HD, intake, and edge juice with attitude. It runs great, doesnt smoke like a freight train and starts right up everytime. Only concern is the Edge us reading fuel pressure at 33 psi. I know that is way too high but it is running great and starts right up on first turn. The electrical gauge wire is spliced into a wire that runs from the back of the VP to where the injector lines come out of the VP. Would my gauge really be off by that much with it running as good as it does?
Im also looking for a mechanical gauge that comes with needed fuel lines and fittings to mount the gauge. Help with any complete kits? |
Ok, so i found a mechanical gauge on Geno's that comes with an isolator (SSPRO R5607R Fuel Pressure Gauge (0-60 PSI)-Geno's Garage)
Question, should I run a T fitting on the supply line (between the lift pump and vp44) or run a banjo bolt on the test port (return line?) with a snubber? Im assuming the isolator with help with pulses regardless of where i'm taping the fuel from? |
sounds like you have a P7100 regulator spring in your fass150
contact fass and they will send you the correct vp44/cp3 regulator spring for it. |
