Pressure Regulator With Holley Black?

I am still trying to understand my trucks needs and am purchasing a holley black pump to keep me on the road till I can afford a fuel system, but am wondering if I need to run a pressure regulator with the pump being preset at 15 PSI at a flow rate of 140 GPM?

I've never run the Holley's myself but the pressure and flow sound right on the money right where they are set to as long as they actually hold that pressure in the real world. As long as you don't get up over the 20 psi and below 5 psi at any times you are fine on that. I think most guys with the holley's were just either stretching or shortening the spring in the bypass vavle on the pump to adjust pressures.

Sounds good then, will make the purchase:U:

I would add the regulator and set it under what the factory setting is by a pound or 2 to keep a constant fuel rate. I added a holley blue with a big line kit and it will not hold the 14psi at 3/4 or more of throttle

Using a by-pass regulater it will hold 15 constant, mine does.

How do you go about adjusting this type of regulator?

Actually the pressure range is 10 MINMUM and 20 MAXIMUM...

Here is the table from the Dodge FSM...
