DAP injectors

I been reading up on these injectors and really can't find much. Just same old stuff. But is anyone running these injectors? And if so what do you think about them?

H.R.D 03-06-2013 02:18 PM

I have heard good things about them. If you talk to Jacob (jkidd) on here, he is a rep for DAP. He can fill you in on them.

my friend runs the 150s from dap and they do very well! he loves them. has had them for almost a year now

jfollowell 03-06-2013 07:22 PM

Yea I've been tryin to read up on them but not very many people are running them. But everything I've read has been on a positive note. I'm thinking about running the combo deal they have which is a good price. Comes with II phatshaft 62 with 150 sticks for 1700. But do appreciate all the feedback.

I think he's more like the owner... :w2:

Diesel Auto Power - Jacob Kidd is a wonderful fellow to work with very straight forward. As for his products he's top notch in my book I typically send most people to him for VP44 pumps.

We do a ton of injectors... 10-20 sets a week. Most people do not list them in their signatures. Our many of injectors are Extrude honed and EDM. We have lots of sizes and keep quality control high. Feel free to call in.

You have also seen our combo prices... they are hard to beat.

Thanks a lot jkidd for the info. I was also wondering, the injectors that come in the combo deal are they 7/8 hole injectors?

hulse09 03-12-2013 09:38 PM

ricet07 03-12-2013 10:00 PM

Great customer service. I am very happy with everything I have ordered from them. Injectors work great and im ready to pick up a turbo and bigger sticks soon.

jfollowell 03-12-2013 11:34 PM

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'm pretty determined to get them ASAP. Hulse09 gonna have to lmk how that combo runs on your truck.

megajoltman 03-13-2013 05:46 PM

I should also add Jacob has excellent customer service....:tu:

hulse09 03-14-2013 11:04 AM

I'll you know soon as I get a clutch :argh: Lol

hulse09 04-12-2013 10:22 PM

Well truck runs good. The 150s and the phatshaft 62 seem to be doing good. But with my comp drag box on 5 I get some high egts. But gained 2.5mpg so far. Smokes some but if u drive normal its pretty clean. Good power. 500 miles on them so far but wish I went with a lil bigger turbo to try and Lower my egt

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-12-2013 11:00 PM

Ya a 62mm is a little small for 150 injectors and a Edge Comp.

Luke

hulse09 04-13-2013 05:16 PM

should i go with a 66?? i dont really have the $$ for one right now. could sell my 62

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-13-2013 05:36 PM

66 it a little big for a daily driver. 64 would be better

Luke

hulse09 04-13-2013 08:12 PM

how much will that set me back and how much do u think i can get out of my 62? i only have 600 miles on it so far

NeverEnough 04-20-2013 05:13 PM

run them love them. got a buddy who runs them loves them:c:

jkidd 04-22-2013 11:14 AM

We offer a 63/65 and 63/68 that my be a little better. 150HP are on the warm end, but is doable, Especially if you run a tunnel ram or water meth injection
