Wanting to buy fuel pump
Im not sure if this is where we ask, but im looking to buy a aftermarket fuel pump that will support a drag with 100 hp injector nozzles?
|
I assume your talking about a drag comp??? if you fill your sig out it well help the people trying to help you that away they can see whats all done to your ride... assuming you were talking about a drag comp and 100hp injector nozzles i would either put in a a airdog 150 or a fass 150, i run the airdog and like it so far.. do you have guages on your truck?? if not i would get them and the fuel system before putting the 100hp nozzles in, the vp44 does not like to be starverd for fuel it will toast your pump:tu:

Go with fass 150 or dtt assassin. The raptors and airdogs are having problems with their new stuff. I have an older fass 150 on my truck and its great 18-20 at idle and I cant get it below 14-15 psi wot throttle
|
Its time for me to get a lift pump too. I'm going with a DTT Assassin. They idle at about 14 psi and at WOT its about 20 psi... It goes up in fuel pressure with more throttle. Call Stephen at DTT, he answered my questions very quickly. FASS 150's as well as Airdogs have leaked from time to time and then you need to get another one. No issue with a life time warentee, but with the mechanical pump, the only thing to fail is losing a belt. They're $9 so carry a spare. Only need one wrench to reinstall it. Look around. I TRIED to find people who were either unsatisfied or had one fail... still cant find anyone..
