Do you have an aftermarket lift pump or gauges?? If not you need both of those ASAP. What kind of tranny do you have?
Sent from my iPhone in the cab of a Caterpillar |
upgrade lp first thing, ejwa has gauges on it already. torque converter and valve body would be a big help too.
|
It has an automatic trans
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Would it be smarter to do the lift pump before injectors? I was looking at 75 horse injectors and im not sure which order to do it in. |
lift pump first, always

Lift pump first

Double down on the Lift pump... What are you getting for Fuel Pressure? If its less then ten your fudged sooner or later and injection pumps are not cheap. I bet your around ten and a whole lot less than that when you put her to the floor on stock LP. Besides how are you gonna feed those new injectors if you dont have good flow of fuel bud... Take our advice do the LP....I think i beat that horse.

Yes..right on. Here's mine. FASS 150 titanium, came with 3/8 line, fittings and mounting bracket.
|
Ok its settled lol... now what would be a good brand to go with? I am on a somewhat tight budget, probably around $400, but i want something that will last. Ideas?

Spend a little more an get a DTT Assassin.

I never had a problem with my AirDog 150 but some will agree and some will think your nuts.....might want to change your budget to 500+....you were gonna spend more than that for injectors."""god im glad our hobby is cheap""""

I got my raptor 100 for $380. Had it for 2yrs with no problems. If you can swing the extra cash an airdog or fass with filters is the way to go.

Sounds like the pump has already been changed cause the factory pump sure won't reach those pressures.
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- If you bump your starter (don't start it) the lift pump should run for about 25sec. Listen for the hum, track it down and see what you got. |

It has an aftermarket pump but there is undercoating on the label.
