cool, appreciate all the help fellas, the dude who wired it up before me really sucks ha, wired it up right and it fixed all my problems. CE light gone, edge works better then it did, have all my power and full range of throttle back. i dont know how the truck ran perfect with it the the way it was before. all i did was put new batteries in and all those problems came up...... runs perfect now, but now when i turn my truck off, it stays running for a few seconds after i let it cool down? is that the turbo timer? or what? on the edge i turned it off but i dont know.

Turbo timer uses minutes, not seconds. Not sure what that would be, mine shuts of rater quickly once the key is turned. Remove the wire from the fuse (#9 i believe) that you connect inside the cab. That will determine if it is turbo timer keeping git on or not.

What wires were incorrect?

the fuse to 9 or the turbo timer wire to 9 from the edge? the power wire wasnt connected or the ground? dont know how it was workin before..... the turbo timer wire was connected in a spare fuse spot that didnt seem to have power, also my fuel pressure sensure needs to still be hooked up to the airdog but its reading 33-34psi haha seems a bit high unless its reading my vp44
