Fuel presssure guage
I have isspro fuel pressure guage in my truck. As of lately the damn thing dips down to 0 psi when I am stopped at a red light. It only does it when I come to a complete stop. After stopped it shoots back up to around 17 psi. Could it be the guage or fuel filter or could it be somthing more sinister?? Any help would be greatly appreciated:argh:

I'd try another test gauge go from there

How do you have you gauge hooked up? Like T before the ip? I would also try another gauge too
|
yes its hooked up before the ip. This is the 3rd isspro guage that I have put in this truck in 4 years. Mite try me autometer next. Anybody know of any other quality brand fuel pressure guages?

When you get another new gauge does it usually fix the problem for awhile? All the cummins guys I know usually run isspro and a rare amount run autometers.

Got it fixed today. Guess my draw straw from the Fass wasn't at the very bottom of the tank. The fuel guage was getting down there a bit. Went to town this am and run out of fuel. Had the wifey get me some fuel and got truck started. Drove around after completely filling truck and the guage is working just the way its supposed to. Guess the tank was low enough on fuel that it wasn't picking it up and the truck was actually running out of fuel. Know now not to let the fuel guage get down below 1/4 tank.:ouch:

I'v heard that of the drawstraws before
|
Ah yes, the 1/4 tank issue. The Vulcan Draw Straw V will take care of that.
|
Good to hear you got it figured out. Never thought about the draw straw. I dont use one with my fass.

Sucks never usually let my fuel level get down that low but that one time I did it bit me in the ass!! LOL Thanks for all the help guys
