Ordering new clutch today
 

Today I'm going to be ordering a new clutch for my truck since I can make my stock one slip pretty easily with the Edge Comp. I decided I'm going to go with a Southbend street dual disc. I tow Caterpillar skid loaders and cars every now and then so does it matter which one I get between the 3250# or the 3600# pressure plate? Also, I'm guessing I should order the upgraded hydraulics?

I cant remember but I think the 3250 is optional with hyrdos but with the 3600 you need it. I have the 3600 comp dual disk on my truck and the pedal is way heavier than my buddys 3250. My buddys feels like there isnt a clutch there where mine in a lot of stop and go traffic it gets hard on the leg. If you do a lot of city driving I wouldnt recommend the 3600. Other than that you cant go wrong with either one. I had 12k behind my truck with my edge on 5. Towed it with no problem at all!

3250 is the way to go for towing and will handle some abuse if you decide to have some fun with it. I have a 3800 in my truck with stock hydros and its got stupid hard pedal pressure. But upgraded hyrdros are never a bad idea because it will make you pedal just like stock so you wont even notice the clutch versus some more noise.

So how difficult is it to install the upgraded hydros and adjust it to the same spot on the pedal as stock?

The hydros should already be adjusted to stock. If not they are simple to do so. The hydros are already pre bleed so its takes about 10min to swap them out.
