Problem with my Airdog 2
All packed up for the 9 hr holiday trip. Went to start my stock 01 (only mod is the Airdog) and didn't hear the lift pump cycle before starting.
Checked the 20 amp fuse. It was blown. Replaced to no avail. Checked for power at the pump and had none. Jumped the relay (red to yellow wire) and got power to the pump. Ran to the parts store and picked up a new relay. Problem is that I still can't hear the pump cycle with the new relay or with the relay jumped. Any other ideas or suggestions for me to check or look into? |
How is the ground for the pump? The power needs a return to complete the circuit.

Both power and ground are visibly fine. They are connected to the driver side battery posts.

It is possible the motor is stuck. You could try tapping on it while power is supplied to see if it will break loose. Otherwise, the motor may be failed.

Thanks... I will give that a try when I get back.

Mine did similar thing and had to call pure flow to get a new pump and motor....

Talked to Josh at Airdog on Monday. New pump is in the mail.
