Lift pump recommendations?

I want to get my lift pump from its original location on the left side of the motor to the frame. It's hard to get to now. I don't plan on major modifications that will require much more fuel flow. Can you recommend a system to install on the frame. Preferably with extension of fuel line and electrical components. I also plan on installing a fuel pressure gauge to monitor pressure and signs of trouble to come. I don't see a need for the extra big fuel tank straw.

I'm very happy with my Pureflow Raptor 100. It comes with everything you need to install it including 1/2" hose from tank to filter. You can pick one up for $380 off ebay. If you don't want the 1/2" hose you can get the Raptor frrp but it is designed to be installed where your factor pump is on the motor but is cheaper. If money is not an issue, you should go with an airdog or fass with filters.

As long as you get a pump that is rated at 100gph or less you wont need a draw straw.

I have a Fass 95 GPH on my truck. I have half inch lines ran with it and holds 18 PSI idle and 15 PSI WOT. The pump is like 6 years old and I have never had a problem with it. It is a little noisier than some pumps but you cant hear it in the cab so it aint to bad. But overall I have had good experiences with mine.

I like the FASS Platinum for a pump. Not terribly expensive, provides lots of flow, and includes a filter. An extra layer of protection for your fuel injection system.

Fass is my choice also, i dislike draw straws period, sump it while your doing the conversion

I am curious to this as well, since I have the same need, I'd like to add a lift pump, before I mod. I am unclear on the draw straw need (I thought you always needed one) and also if you need to drop the tank to install..I thought you always needed to do this to get to, at a minimum, get to all the fuel lines. Is that true, if not, certainly simplifies installation. I'd like to know the preferred way to do this so it is done correctly. Please forgive me..newbie here. Thanks.

if you do not have the in tank lift pump there is no need to drop the tank. I don't know where it came that you need a draw straw to run over a 95/100 gph pump as I have a 150 on mine going through the factory pickup and it flows 20psi all day long even at wot even when I dynoed 683.

683 - NICE. heh heh heh. ok. noted. Thank you for the info, everyone.
