As you have a FP gauge, yes. Just keep an eye on the pressure, and regulate your right foot.

I had a few fights with my truck and I wound up putting together a system almost identical with what we use in the marine industry. Aftermarket lift pumps do not handle debris well and I was in the same boat on the expenses. I have the raptor 150 with a Vulcan draw straw (call Vulcan for the best one for you) and I installed a Vulcan vpmax water seperator before the raptor. This will prevent debris from locking the lift pump and the draw straw is far superior to the one supplied by pure flow. Fuel pressure is 18 idle and 15 WOT now. Had issues with the pure flow draw straw getting air and I locked up my raptor 100 with a very small piece of debris, so I decided to create something good and simple. And it works great!!!!
