Diesel mileage computer

Anyone know of a real time fuel mileage computer for our rigs. Want to find the sweet spot for hiway mileage.

Does your truck have the overhead computer with temp and compass? If it does should be able to display mpg avg, real time mpg, dte, etc. I know mine does

Nope, it's not that easy.

Not sure if this is exactly what you want, I dont have one but came across it when I was looking for the same answer.
Hopefully somebody here has tested this or another like it with some feedback for both of us? :s: :humm:

The Dodge overheads are not accurate.

I just bought one of those a couple days ago. It monitors more than just fuel mileage and you can watch up to 4 parameters at a time. I have not yet figured it all out but did set it up today to watch mileage and a couple other things. I haven't driven it since I have that done. Appears to be pretty a cool setup.

True but helps give an idea for sweet spotting.

X2 Every time I've compared real mpg to this it's at least 2-3 off :argh:
