Tranny build

Hey,

I need input for a tranny build. Mine was done about 2 years ago, and has an upgraded TC. It's still runs fine, but now hovering around 400hp's and don't want to go any higher before the tranny is built solid, and not have to worry about it.

It doesn't slip when your hauling or just going down the road. 1 Thing I found weird, the guys were on me to pull a burnout leaving his house. So no harm in leaving a few treads in his laneway. But I couldn't get them to turn over. At all, didn't try to long because I didn't want to break anything. They are chevy guys and had a good laugh. So I'm guessing that would be tranny slip? or the rear brakes are that good?

Input on the build would be appreciated. I want to start gathering whatever I need in advance, so I can get it done this summer.

Thanks

Corbin

or you didnt come into boost yet. for only 400hp your stock internals with a good TC and VB ungrades is absolutly fine. how deep are your pockets?

if its not broke dont fix it kinda a good rule to live by u8nless funds are readily available.

next for me would be up the clutch cound in the direct a billet input some billet servoes and suck a 4.1 lever better snchor and strap.

I did hit boost for sure. The tires just didn't turn at all. I was kind of surprised because of the power under the hood, you would figure it would be nothing the get the wheels to spin.

Not that I have deep pockets, but if I'm going to rebuild it, I would do it right the first time, instead of saying I should done this or that when I rebuilt it. I know nothing about these auto transmission in these trucks other than you will have to rebuild it at some point.

Just trying to get it right the first time and not have any problems, and learning as much as I can. Which is why I really like this site. Learned so much from all of you, and it actual knowledge that was tried & tested on your trucks, so you know if it's worth doing or just a waste of money.

The heaviest I haul is fire wood in the fall, my camping trailer is to light to make a difference, and I might do the odd truck pull once or twice a year.

Thanks

Corbin
