Different Manifiold would make it nice, I have a DPS 3 Piece, and if you want to drop 600 Bucks a set of 40-75 HP injectors. DO you have an auto??? if its is flush the tranny and adjust the bands it will last as long as the engine does, Mine at 230K with a 47RE never been rebuilt just the owner before me flushed it once a year, and im doing the same, and adjust the bands... Fluid #1 Killer of the 47RE. IF its an 5 Speed, no worries nothin needs to realy be done, just change the fluid every now and then as your suposse to...

What upgrades would you suggest to Tranny
Well you could do a valve body and converter now and that would beef it up or you could just run it till you tear it up and go with a fuull built tranny. The Cummins is tough on the stock auto's, thats why some prefer the NV4500 :w2:
I understand what your saying i was looking for a manual , But this truck is too sweet to pass up for the money ... Cummins 12 v are high priced here in the Northwest for sure....
Ur def gonna want a trans build if ur looking for hard power. But a vb and tc are a very good start....and adjust those bands and possibly a trans cooler... that would be my first upgrade.. anyone disagree?
