Default garrett 60/65/14?

anyone know anything about garrett turbochargers? a kid has one with these specs for sale cheap, just wondering if they're any good. guessing this would be comparable to an hx40? he said it has a 12 blade compressor wheel but i think he was counting the small blades too and its a 6 blade.

is this going on your ford or a cummins? that size would be great for a mild street truck -cummins- but to small for the 7.3

It would be for the 96 12 valve replacing my idi.

Would it match up well with 370s with correct spray pattern, 4kgsk, 60lb valve springs, a #100 plate, and afc tuning? That's everything I have so far, just need a turbo to finish it up. I like the 62/68/14 but my budget wont allow it.

I'm gonna go ahead and get it. If I don't like it I'm sure I can resell it.

it's $300 so I'm gonna go ahead and grab it. i think it has a smaller intake size (3.5" maybe?) but I'm sure it'll be adequate for my needs. do you have any lag issues with your 14cm exhaust housing?

im gonan say no. there is a difference between the 12 and 14 but ive got enough fuel to overcome most all of that. i am very pleased with the size of turbo i have. its not a monster by any stretch of the imagination but the truck is still very usable as a truck and makes more power. i got mine used for $600 so $300 dont seem bad to me!
