you may want to do studs before that much timing.. what size is that 62?

Re: timing
Anything over 16.5 will trash a factory gasket
i got new stock bolts torqued down to 155 lotta people told me thatll hold em im pretty sure its a 62/65/14? its an s300 base and some guy in oregon "custom" makes them appartently i bought her used so im not 100% sure

Re: timing
It won't hold it. Ringed and studed will.
wat about leaving the head on and studding it one by one?
Re: timing
Might hold for a while . But it will eventually blow
ive heard doing it 1 by 1 is better than pulling the head and getting it resurfaced and new hg since the old one has a solid seal?
Re: timing
It is the only way to do it if your not pulling the head.
i know that i mean compared to pulling the head and gettin it surfaced and replacing headgasket. is it any better to pull the head and surface it n all that or just replacing the bolts with studs 1 by 1? ive heard people on both sides of that arguement... i guess my question is why would it only hold for a while? is doing it one by one not as good in your opinion?
