Re: gov springs?

Send it to a pump shop

this might help out a bit on understanding the workings a little more

its a stock spring just tightened 2 clicks or so. so pull the pump and send it to some one is my best bet?

Re: gov springs?

If there is no externally visible problems such as linkage bind or slip, I would recommend sending it to the pump shop. There is very little in these pumps that could or should be repaired by the do it yourself'er. Not to mention it would be a great time for pump mods!

fixed it! it was the linkage at the bottom that came off.

Re: gov springs?

If it will pop off easily you might want to replace the ball and receiver . Even more so with a auto truck, the slight movement in the linkage can make getting the tps a little frustrating

the ball didnt pop off. it was still on there. it unscrewed itself some kinda way
