Need some knowledable guidance.

OK, I need you smarter people out there to help me make sure I don' destroy my truck or get over my head. I am keeping my stock turbo and moding to set my self up for a larger one int he future...I will start off with the simple mods gauges, boost elbow, 4 GSK, 60# valve springs Intake horn, and 5in exhaust.

If I put in 5x.18 injectors and some Haisley Machine laser/full cut DVs, would I be getting to the point of pushing my clutch too far? With that in mind I am not sure of how much to tune my P Pump too or where to adjust the timing too? Any suggestions... I really need ya'll help on this one.

Thanks in advance

Oh yeah, might remove the fuel plate too!

Don't do it ... way too big of a DV and injector combo for a street truck.

Is it too much for the clutch? Or is it something else? What set up would you advise...Just the injectors and the fuel plate gone or what? Thanks for the advice:ouch:

is it a stock clutch? and did you do the kdp?

Pull the plate, tune the AFC, buy a set of gov springs, then save up for a clutch.

that setup would kill a stock clutch in no time, you can slip a good stock clutch in
5th gear with just plate removed. if you do anything more than plate work, your going to want to upgrade your clutch.

Don't waste your money on an intake horn or delivery valves. Both stock versions will take you to 500+ hp no problem. Start with gauges, kdp tab, take your stock plate, carve a 100 out of it, slide your AFC housing all the way forward, either a 3 or 4k GSK and your stock clutch will last a little while if you go easy on it. Adjust your star wheel until you have what you want coming out the tail pipe. Remember, smoke doesn't equal power. Less smoke with the same amount of fuel will mean more power. An AFC spring kit will help with better adjustment of this.:c:

The afc spring kit is mainly for bigger chargers, it won't help you tune it.

It made the smoke more manageable with my stock turbo, just my .02:tu:
