Cummins Factory Injectors

Hey guys,
Been searching around, but haven't found any info on what I'm looking for. I work at Napa, and we have a (I think) Bosch book that has cummins injectors and holset turbos in it. So, I was wondering if there are any factory injectors that I can run in the 5.9 that will flow a lot of fuel, rather than buying them from another company.

Thanks in advance!

12V Bosch - you want the RV 275 units. You can go a little further with a marine grade Bosch injector BUT these smoke too much for most people.

Hope that helps.

As far as "a lot" of fuel goes. The only viable injector from Bosch would be the 370HP Marine 6BT Cummins injector. That injector would apply to a 12V.

Some guys will come on here and start knocking this injector. BANG FOR the BUCK you CANNOT beat it. It can spray slightly outside of the bowl depending upon the amount of timing you run. However, we have ran this injector for years and have not had a problem arrise from this.

There are better injectors out there. However they would cost signifigantly more to attain.

In a 24V you can fun the 275HP RV 6BT Cummins injector for a gain of about 40hp. Not big, but reasonable on price.

RV275 is a decent 24V injector.

300 is the smallest 12V injector I would buy.

The viable 12V options are
300
330
370

cool, thanks for the replies. I don't care about smoke, or towing EGTs. does anyone have a CPL number or some reference I could use to find the 370s or any other injector you would recommend?

Thanks!

even a set of 215's out of a 96-98 stick can flow a decent amount of fuel enough to get 400 horse or so

These are some part numbers I had saved.

Bosch 330s - 0 432 131 753
PDR 370 injector body # - KDAL 59 P14 389 18
PDR 370 injector tip # - 5969
180 injector tip number - 6814
160 injector body number - KDAL 59 P12 260
215 injector tip number: 6816

These are all Bosch numbers, either off the injectors/tips themselves or their part number.
