air dog II

is the air dog II worth the extra 100 bucks?

IMO yes. I have them on both trucks and like the adjustable feature as well as the way it works without having to drill into the tank for a draw straw.

i think the ad 2 is better. the way the fuel goes back to the filter base instead of the tank is a good idea.:tu:

Depends. One thing that bugs me though is this:

Airdog original at 150 gph is drawing 150 gph from the tank constantly. Anything that doesn't get burned gets dumped back in the tank. This large, constant flow is why you need a drawstraw.

Now, Airdog 2 is demand flow, fuel is internally recirculated and fuel is only drawn from teh tank as the injection system consumes it. So the flow from the tank is lower, and hence, no drawstraw. BUT!!!! If you have a hot truck that really consums (burns) 150 or 165 gph, now your Airdog2 is going to be pulling the same flow from the tank as the original airdog.... Which requires a draw straw. My theory is, if you've got a truck that can consume big fuel, you're gonna need a draw straw either way.
