Cheap or not in all seriousness, yes they can stretch over time. If I bought them I'd def mesure them all against themselves to make sure everything is what it should be. Also there's nothing wrong with stock ones as long as your not running crazy timing 18*+ or large boost numbers 50+psi they are perfectly fine. You also won't get the full benefit of the studs clamping force with o-ringing or fire ringing the head. Yes they will help but I've seen blown gaskets with stock head gaskets. Food for thought as well. That being said if you don't buy them pass along the info because I know I could put them to good use someplace :D

I would use them too depending on what mods the PO had done to his rig and as Jake said here measure them for stretch
where are they? I will buy them too and how much is he asking? |
Also don't forget you'll need to get the rocker pedestals machined down as well!
|
which you can do your self with a grinder (if your good)
or we offer them for 100 bucks with your old ones as a core :tu: |
You can also grind the webbing out of the top of the valve covers and not have to have the pedestals machined.
|
yep just dont get too happy with it or you will have another spot to put a blow by vent :w2:
|
Yeah if you slip you can get one on them new side vented 12V valve covers
|
hmmmm sounds like an idea there Scott lol
