hx35/ht4b twins

hey guys I'm getting an ht3b for 200 bucks and i wanna run it in a twin setup on my truck. I've been searching for a good write up on how to set the twins on my 12 valve but i cant find what i'm lookin for. i can fab up just about everything so all i really need is a detailed list of the parts and pieces i will need so i can start scraping this stuff up. and i need to know what to do with the oil lines. i have a spare complete motor sitting on a stand so my plan is to build it onto that motor and then move it onto my truck. let me know what you guys think. any help is appreciated :tu:

I can give you a basic breakdown list but there are many options as to HOW they are put together that change some of the parts.
You will need to start by flipping the manifold over and installing 3rd gen (1/2"longer) studs, and drilling the threaded holes in the 35s foot to 7/16 so the studs pass through. install a 1/2" spacer and gasket between the turbo and manifold. use an "open" spacer unless you drill the divider in the turbo so it can gate both sides. loosen the housings and clock the center so the oil feed line is on top as vertical as possible. the comp outlet should be about @ 7 o'clock position.
Hot pipe= hx35 turbo outlet flange, 90* elbow, ht3B inlet flange (NOT T6!)
cold pipe= 3-1/2" boot to (? pipe dia) 90* elbow, 45* elbow, 180* elbow to 4"boot.
IC pipe= 3" hump hose to 3" pipe pair of 45* elbows 9" straight.
intake pipe= 5" 90* tight radius elbow to 5":5-1/2" reducer 45* rubber coupler
filter= 5" inlet 10" long cone filter
down pipe= 5" clamp, 5" flange, pair 5" 45* elbows
oil feeds= top turbo must be 2" longer than stock, bottom turbo is 1/8NPT @ filter head and 1/4NPT @ turbo USUALLY. The 3B had some variants and may be a metric straight thread like the 35 or need a 2 bolt flange. take the guesswork out and order this part from Source or other reputable shop and ASK what to use.
drains= the oil outlet of the 35 can be cut/re-used. the 3B has a large outlet and some are tapped (for fitting like 1/2" NPT IIRC) the turbo support bracket (if used) will often incorporate this part.
the drain hoses are 7/8" and on a pre '98 12v you will need to put a second drain in the pan for the big turbo behind the motor mount just below the rail but above the oil level. some late 12v's were "storm" blocks and have a drain in the back like this where you can pop out the plug and press in a fitting:

hope this helps some. :c:
