Fuel Gauge Install

Ive been doing some searches and cant seem to find what I was looking for. Is there someone out there that has detailed instructions on the fuel gauge install? I was hoping to find isntructions with pics and hopefully a parts list of what I would need. Any help would be greatly apprecialted... And also, do I need to run the gauge in the cab or could I just put one under the hood?

I hooked mine up to the port on the top of the fuel filter housing with a male x male adapter, ran stainless steel braided line to and isolater mounted on the fire wall then out of the isolater I run a 3/16 boost line to my guage in my pillar(you could put it under your hood if you wanted to i guess) but thats basically how you hook up any kind of fuel pressure gauge, I seen a kit on ebay that enables you to hook it up on the feed line to your injection pump, If you wanted to go that route. I got my kit from Diesel Manor, it came with a couple different adapters and such so hookin it up was simple :tu:

I have my fuel pressure gauge mounted on my steering wheel column, it's not hidious looking but it does block 0-35 on my speedo. Or you can mount it under the dash by the 4x4 shifter

I wish a company made a pillar pod that would mount on the passenger side.. Is there anything like that out there?

Gauges

You take their pillar mount and put it on the passenger side

You could mount it outside on the cowl if you wanted, you wouldnt need an Isolator that way. :c:
