Got the plate and now have ???????SSSS
I just bought a 30 dollar #100 plate on ebay. It comes with the bolts and boost elbow. I have researched the process of changing it extensively and I am confused about the break away bolt can anyone give me info on that. This plate wont throw off timing will it? and I am cruios about turning the star wheel I know it has a allen plug but where do I find it ? any would appreciate any others tips for switching the plate for my first time ?? thanks

i beat them out with a chisel and cut a slot on the top and run it back in with a screw driver

soo i thought the star wheel was the smoke screw ? where is the smoke screw located? Soo you break the head of the bolt and what is the most popular way of getting it out? Does it have a thread ? I going to put the plate FF and maybe crank the star wheel a little bit , I have the truck turbo back will I have some bad EGTs????

also do I have to adjust the govenor spring or the star wheel while i run the #100 plate

do you have a auto or a 5 speed? do you have a pyro? you really need a pyro when in creasing fuel. if your auto is stock then that plate will eat your tranny! be careful when adding more fuel when other things are not in place:humm:
