Holset H2E
I have a brand new Holset H2E. I listed it in the For Sale section but I wanted to pick the brains of some of you. It's a 63/71/19. With the mods in my sig is this thing going to be really bad on my truck or can I tune it a bit and get some SDX sticks and DV's and make it work to get to my 500hp DD goal?
if your running it as a single charger id have to say it would be pretty laggy.
most people that run a 64/71 charger or in that area run 14 housings with reasonable spoolup and nice egts. i think the 19 would be slow imo |
Won't know until you try and you may be able to get a tighter exhaust housing for it. It's worth a try at least. The worst that can happen is it doesn't work.
yeah id go tighter exhaust housing before id even put it on there
There is a 17cm housing for it.....it's non-waste gated so they are usually bigger.
You will need a tighter exhaust housing or it will be a lag pig.
Also Note... The H2E is not known for being a charger that takes a ton of abuse and usually end up breaking the shaft. This was one of the reasons many passed them over when they popped onto the performance scene back in late 99. |
