whats the difference of fuel flow between the 131 ad the 181 and all of those? what the power difference?
When I get on the pc I have a pic showing the diff between 131 181 191 and full cut. As for power it's a crap shoot sure full cuts flow more but a properly tuned pump with 181s can make more power than full cuts thrown into the pump. It's all in the tuning of your pump for sure.
bc im throwing in some 181s in my 94 upgrade from the 131 and i got a set of 215 injectors whats the best thing to tune for the pump? do i need some orings or some thin when i replace the dv?
i think you need copper washers, truck should make pretty good power with 181s
Well it's def alil more involved but worth it if your tryin to get fuel.... It involves takin the pump off and getting it benched and gettin the barrels turned. But it yeilds some crazy fuel. While it's on the bench to you can get the pump balanced. Anyways these figures are from a stock 180hp pump. Stock plate with stock barrels was 171cc. Stock plate with turned barrels was 190cc. 100 plate in stock position with turned barrels was 326cc. 100 plate full forward with turned barrels was 445cc. Just so you know 500-550cc's is enough fuel to support 600hp.

I agree playing with your p pump beyond fuel plates and DV's has its benefits. But it depends on what you want the truck to do if you wanna race, pull sleds then go wild get your barrels turned but if all your looking for is a decent street truck thats reliable and you can still tow with it I would just leave it alone once you start getting into the 300 cc fuel range it takes alot of air to take avantage of that much fuel and even at that your EGT's are high. Also you can take the life expectancy of you engine a chop it in half, I dont care what anybody says nothing is reliable above 500 HP thats 3 times the factory HP on a 12 valve
so what dv's are in the 180 pump?
Im almost 100 % sure a stock 180 pump has 181's
stock 180 pump should have 181dv's in it
Do not use the copper/steel seals below the seats with the 181's, take them out.
what do you use with 181s if you dont use copper washers? orings?

how much more would it flow if i used the 131 seats with the 181s? how does that work
you want the 181 seats and the 131 valves. They will flow a lil more but not to much.
whys that?
131 valves have less shoulder then the 181 valves, so they will flow just a tad more in the 181 seats.
