Anything as far as aftermarket air horns?
Is there an aftermarket airhorn that would be better than stock? Or does the stock do everythign just fine?
Just curious Matt |
aftermarket ones are better but not worth the money
|
How much better? What do they go for generally?

I spent ~$300 to put onboard air + a set of Kong train horns on the 1st Gen:

Who knows. They are scary wicked loud, way cool, and I'm all set for that ARB locker up front now, if I ever get around to that. |

From what I have heard the only ones that they make much difference on is the 3rd gens and dont do much at all for the 2nd's |
Yes the air intake horns, sorry guys. But what do they do for the 2nd gens as far as power/boost/economy?

Ok thanks for the input guys. Guess the stock cummins air horn will suffice!

Save your money for other mods, I have a twin ram on my truck and felt very little difference by my seat o pants meter.
But when I had my pyro hooked up it lowered my egt's by 50 and I also lost 4 psi of boost due to increased volume |
