Finally bought a pyro

Well after over a year of driving hard and towing hard on my sig truck i decided i better get a pyrometer before i destroy something so i went to Dynomite Diesel (something i swore i was never going to do but i figure buying a part from them and installing it myself doesnt count as having them build my truck) and came away with a black faced Stewart Warner 1600* unit. I plan on installing it tomarrow and am looking for input on where to mount the guage, so any input from those of you with guages who maybe have figured out where the best visibility and most intuitive spot to glance at is would be greatly appreciated

PS the reason why i avoid DDP is because im tired of all the trucks running around with DDP stickers because the owner dropped off a truck with a blank check and now have a lifted, bombed diesel that will never be hauled or towed with so ive always said i build my trucks DDP free on my own terms

+ 2 on pillar very nice for daily driving ... out of the way no blocking of any view and easy to see ... i have a 3 pod with my trans boost and egt and it works great ... now on my prerunner i have a full custom pod thats on the dash that kinda blocks the view alittle but works much better for the application so it really depends on wat the truck is doing and own personal taste but i would go with pillar pod for dd

need a gauge pod for the a pillar? i will trade you for your stock one if there is no holes or gauges on it..... im looking for a factory one..... how bout like 20 bucks and you pay shipping too?

its grey im just putting the gauges in my dash

i will ship it right back in the box that you send yours...

Thanks but i think i'l pass, my interior is red and the interior paint never matches the rest of the faded truck. Plus i dont really want a pillar setup...im thinking of ceiling mounted abouve the rearview or on top of the regular guage cluster abouve the tach
