Dual Fuel Feed

Well, I've got the Airdog II, and it looks pretty simple to setup a dual line feed - just a few more lines and another T fitting. What would be the benefit in me doing this, or would it just be a waste of my time? All opinions welcome.

dual feed for what?

Really no need for this.....
I had a club member do this with his truck and he gained zero from it on a dyno.

I dual fed my 175 ppump and IMO I think it is worth it. My truck ran much better than it did with just a single feed, the difference was mainly in the upper rpms.

Hammer, I don't have any dyno numbers to back this up but with the dual feed my 175 ppump ran way smoother up top. I think because the cam in the 175's doesnt allow much fill time the more fuel you can get in there the better. Also allowes for cooler fuel flow accorss the pump.

I did this Fuel pick up some years ago and so far it's one of the few mods that has worked without a flaw every since. https://www.dieselbombers.com/dodge-...pply-line.html

Thanks for the replys. If it helped out your pump it oughta do a little bit for my 160 pump. What'd ya just T off the main and remove that plug in the front?

Ok the point isn't to get numbers out of the mod just to support more mods. You run something other than a stock lift pump so you have done the same thing. this guy just wants to go a step further.

Farmboy 2.0 09-15-2010 02:53 PM

It helps smooth the truck out if your running tons of fuel into the pump and to be more efficient and run smoother when it calling for more fuel at high rpms. And will do the same at idle with trucks and high fuel applications. But in general i think it will help period

jrad989 09-15-2010 07:50 PM

seems to me if your putting in an airdog anyway you might as well do this.

mech2161 09-17-2010 11:59 AM

You can quad feed it but if the ofv isn't holding the proper pressure it's not going to help.

redrocket9793 10-17-2010 02:40 AM

What size thread is the front where the plug is??

mech2161 10-17-2010 12:51 PM

14X1.5mm for side ports

18X1.5mm for front port
