Water Meth?

So I'm getting a little more back from my taxes than what I thought and I want to go ahead and get a water meth setup. I was looking at the Snow Performace stg2 and adding on the 2.5 gallon rersivoir. What do you all think? Is the AEM or ProParts a better set up or is than the Snow Performance or vice versa?

I have a Snow Performance Stage 2 (boost reference, 100psi controller, 150psi pump) with the 2.5 gallon resivoir and I really like it! The only thing I wish I would have done is went ahead and got the 7 gallon tank because the 2.5 gallon really doesn't last long when you are playing around...:w2:

how much boost you making? may need studz... meth=high cylinder pressure...:rocking:

Snow makes the best kit in my honest opinion. I would agreee on the larger tank if possible. You dont really need studs if your not going over a 50/50 mix.

I was running about 45 psi on a 50/50 mix with one 600ml and one 300ml nozzle and didn't have any issues except for running the 2.5 gallon tank dry waaaaay before I wanted to

I already have studs and I just got the head back from Industrial with the o rings so I'm not to worried their... The Snow kit is really the only kit I could find anything on, but I've heard of a few people running Devils Own kits and they like them too...

Just remember bigger nozzles are not always better

rkadcock 02-06-2010 07:08 AM

right, I was going to use the medium nozzles the kit came with, the big ones are probably to big for my application right now and a friend just blew his turbo by putting the big ones on...

I tapped the washer resevoir for my snow stage 2, sure it only holds a gallon, but one less thing to run lines to and look at every day in the bed of the truck. I keep an extra gallon of fluid in the tool box and fill my res every time I fill my tank, or as needed when racin.

I used one of these mounted in my toolbox:

Molded 5 Gallon Plastic Fuel Tank : eBay Motors (item 110488129433 end time Feb-06-10 09:29:25 PST)

5gal. and only about 4 inches high, doesn't take up much space back there. The guy apparently has a bunch of them and you can get them for next to nothing compared to what the vedors want for their big tanks.
