after you get them changed and tightened back up just loosen #1 fuel supply line and crank over until it spits fuel tighten it up and work your way down the line probably wont try to start until youve done 3or4 :humm:

so you crack the line and then pump the fuel primer?

captain_stabbin 02-03-2010 09:25 PM

mine usually fires right up without bleedin lines

bowtech 02-03-2010 09:42 PM

could air get stuck in the system if u dont or it just blow out

you can pump the primer or crank it over either way will work and like captain stabbin says they have been known to start too without priming them

change the washers out even if they look good. The injectors have a button on the side make sure it drops in the slot in the head before you tighten them down. If the injector gets stuck go buy a nut that fits over the threads and use a pair of vicegrips to get it out.

Actually....
If he cuts a short piece of electrical conduit pipe(just long enough that it fits between the head and midway up the injector) and uses a factory lug nut flipped over he can pull the injectors out very easily.Cheapest injector puller one can ever have and it makes removing number 6 a breeze.......Andy

thats good advice, I've never had to use a puller with mine ( guess I have been lucky), normally I use a nut and a vicegrip and they come right out. I'll have to try this next injector go arround

do i have to take off a bunch of stuff like all the fuel line holders or just take off the top nut on the injector?
