3 piece manifold
is a 3 piece really worth it? will it lower my temps?
and what is a good one to get? im looking at the pulse. i heard ats is going out of buissness and has terrible customer service now and their products are over priced. thanks |
im gettin 1 not for spoolup or anything like that... stock 1s shrink and break the ears on the head. go to the passenger side and look at the bolts... i bet theyre pulled toward the middle bc its shrinking, thats a good reason to get 1

Shrinkage of the stock one is the main reason people upgrade, but they do help a little with spoolup and egt's. |
If you get one get a PDI they hold up a little better than the other cast manifolds. If it's cast though it can still break with high heat.

There is really no good one brand of the 3 piece manifolds as they are ALL known to crack somewhere. Its one of those deals you just pick your flavor and run it until it cracks and then replace it.I am on my second ATS manifold as the back 3 cylinders cracked inside the center section and fell apart when we redid my headgasket a while back.

kk im gunna go with the pulse, heard alot of good things about them, and there cheap

Dan...
ALL of the 3 piece manifolds are "pulse" manifolds.doesn't matter which one you buy. Like I said, pick your flavor and run with it. |
You can have them coated that helps them last. The best thing to do is get a stainless manifold.

where you get stainless one

High Tech Turbo
don't know if they make a 2nd gen one ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- I'm very happy with my PDI manifold |
