fueling big hp

ive noticed the ppe duel fueler pump kits and all that for when you make big power. is something like that neccessary or is it just make it easier for the motor to keep constant fuel pressure what besides the ppe 3100 dollar dual pump kit could i do if i wanted to make alot of power

That kit would be for a 3rd gen with a cp3.

so if i had a 12v and i wanted to run 750 hp on the street and to pull and drag race with what kind of pumps and what not would i need to feed the fuel? 14mm p pump? what do i use to get the fuel to the p pump im new to modified diesels and im trying to learnim used to working on old macks and mechanical cats and big truck stuff

Airdog 200 and a 13mm pump should do it along with proper tuning, injectors, big single or twins

i agree with shea. a 13mm will fuel enough for 750. the turbos, for a dd that u pull a regular trailer every once in awhile, twins would be the most streetable. u will deffinately needs studs, and o-rings. :tu:

What about the transmission? You start running all that power and you'd better build the tranny to cope with it.

12mm ppump 550cc's of fuel will get you there with a good twin set

coalrollin12v 01-31-2010 08:12 PM

well i was mostly just askin about the engine specifics but yeah of course theres always driveline modifications to be done id figure a dd clutch from southbend and an input shaft and all that

It takes alot to get to 750.
