new clutch.. which ones are good
Hey, well, after bumping up the power, the clutch is giving out... wondering what clutches out there are good, and yes, price is important, so I'm not going to be buying a triple disc any time soon, my sig has my mods so that should give you an idea of what I'm going to require
centerforce, ACT would be the two clutch brands easiest for me to get, are they any good? |
valair are good

Valair, Southbend or Kenny's pulling clutches are the three names tossed around most and I don't think you can go wrong with any of those.

I put a ton of Valair clutches in and never had a problem yet. They are a great price for a great clutch, we beat the crap out of them too and they hold up great. South bend is another choice that would be just fine, just a bit more money. A cheaper clutch that works out good is a luke stg2. from six states, I've put a few of those in and for the price there not to bad. Good luck

x2 SB or Valair are what you usually hear about. I have a southbend, haven't put many miles on it but I have 100% confidence in it. Look around, find a local dealer that will stand behind you and like either brand and go through them IMO. There are definitely great vendors on here and good pricing, but I try to make bigger purchases like that through my local guys (GOS), just to have someone to go and talk to about it.

South Bend Clutch or Haisley Machine have very good clutch units and will do anything you want them to do.

South Bend's our biggest seller and great customer service:tu:
|
South Bend for us! All we sell and install and they are top notch, both in quality and in service after the sale!

thanks folks... wondering on some ballpark pricing, particularly the Valair.. if I do source one from a local dealer, I want to know I'm not getting raped
