removing the fuel plate.

when you remove the fuel plate wht do you do with the rod inside? to do all i would do is remove the afc take out the plate and put the housing back on? thanks in advance.:c:

it will not hurt the pump to run plateless. to run plate less you just remove the fuel plate and put nothing in its place. If I were you I would leave the afc in there and tune it ( it makes driveing so much easyer).

what do you mean by tunning the afc housing?

setting the amount of boost you need to see before you get full fuel

How do you do this?

play with the boost screw on the back of the afc. then play with the star wheel, turn it toward the front of the motor. flip the washers to allow more rack travel. that's what i did, but it took awhile to get it the way i wanted.
