TC Lockup Switch
So after work today I'm helping my friend do a lockup switch on his 97. Its got a ATS TC and deep pan and a Suncoast VB so it should be able to take the abuse... Anyways, for the jumper wiring does it need to be a certain gauge of wire? Secondly, how do you wire the switch itself? I know part of it needs to go to a ground under the dash, but what else is involved?
I've already read the instructions of TST products website so I'm fairly comfident in what I'm doing |
Hardest part is figuring out where to mount the switch and what wire to splice into.
He really needs billet shafts to do any locked shifts. |
well we have it mounted under the steering wheel, that seem to be the easiest except for having to remove some plastic to put the cover back on... We got the wire ran and spliced into the pin behind the airbox. All their is left to do is the jumper in the fuse box and actually connecting the wiring to the switch
I'm just worried about doing the jumper, is their a certain gauge wire you need or does that matter? |
