Are you replacing a stock that had problems or looking for an upgrade. I've heard that a very few companies have got the cam's figured out. I've heard Scheid and Haisley both have good cams. I've also heard great things about Zach Hamilton out at HD Cam's!

There's plenty of good products, but with your current mods, After you figure install cost and the cost of the product you're not getting the most bang for your buck.

I'm look at a cam for a customer when they've gone as far as they can go with the airflow available. There's already plenty of airflow available until around 650RWHP or so IMO

Zach has a great cam, and he's in Liberty Hill, not to far from you. When I tear my truck down for the twin build, I'm using his whole valve train, I believe in his product. PM me and I will get you his # if you want.

Cashwheel's right. I didnt wana brag to much, His work isnt hype it's the real deal. All to often we get caught up in hype.

I've used all of his products with the exception of the Cam's and have talked to him a few times. He's got a great product!

another good reason for a cam upgrade would be power in the upper rpm range ... as for me I have the big stick by HD cams I have met zach in person he is a heck of a guy.

I personally feel like it's a heck of a upgrade when the motors out of the front covers apart. I dont feel that the cost of the job is worth the performance gained

I understand where your comming from ... another thing to think about would be the bolt on gear vs the stock pressed on, if you change the cam IMO get the bolt on gear upgrade it will help you sleep better at night

I can see the use of this in high HP applications but in lower HP applications the stock press on style should be more than safe!
