Where can I get one of these? They have evidently stopped selling these but I MUST have one! Is there anything better? I want REAL cold air, nothing from under the hood!:rocking:

There were some rumblings of a new vendor taking over, but that went sour. Scotty is still in his shop with new ideas. :5:

Scotty II some sort of fancy intake??

Dr. Evil 08-11-2009 12:35 AM

Yes, you drill a hole in the cowl area and it suck cool air in to lower EGT's.:

There have been guys in the past go this same route using the clothes dryer vent hose, the tin foil lookin ones that expand like an accordion.

I know it sounds stupid but I always thought about usin one of those wet/dry vac hose attachments to mount level on the cowl to take air in.

Dr. Evil 08-11-2009 01:08 AM

Same principle basically. Infidel on DTR uses a 3" dryer hose that feeds from the cowl and goes right into the inlet of the air filter box.

Rain water is my only concern and why I haven't done this yet. Don't wanna flood my filter every time we get a good rain and i don't know a good way of blocking it.
