Exhaust mods
Doesn't anyone supply a 5" exhaust kit for my old 12V that dumps in front of the rear wheel? Seems like everyone puts it up and over the axle. WHY? Also, why can't I get a 5" down pipe for my '96?:humm:

5" downpipe would hurt performance on low end... i dont no of any1 that makes a 5" downpipe anyway, go from a 4" downpipe to ur 5" exhaust then just dont put the piece on that goes over the axle, put a 90 then come out b4 the tire. and the reason ppl dont do that is bc it gets soot all over the wheel and the back of the truck

Yeah, guess you're right when I think about it. I just figured that if I was going to soot my white camper I may as well do the rear tires.:argh:

u might look into a turndown tip so it doesnt cover ur camper

Good advice on the turndown. I put one on my rig (97) and keeps the RV much cleaner. After a short trip I could sign my name in the soot on the side of the TT with the straight ended pipe, now its not an issue.
