delivery valves
can someone tell me the difference between 191 dv holders and .090 holders:humm:i no there bigger but as far as performance how are they.

this is just what i've been told; not saying it is correct. but for the price to hp gain DV upgrades really aren't worth it. unless of course your flowing a good bit of fuel and your trying to squeeze every last bit of HP as you can out of it (which in previous posts i've read you are)

thanks:U:and i think ur rite they are pricy, but im tryin to get to 500 and im not too far away:rocking:do u have any idea hp wise what the gain would be:humm:

I've heard the 191s don't do much for power, just make smoke and heat. That being said, Dynomite Diesel sells some DVs that claim 20 more hp than the 191s with less smoke, and lower temps. I'm running these on my truck. I upgraded from stock, so can't say what the difference would be from 191s, but my EGTs stayed about the same, a little more smoke, and my seat-of-the-pants dyno noticed a little more responsiveness down low.

215 pump and yeah im sittin on 16* rite now and i can go to 18* without studs
:rocking:but how should i tune my afc |
i actually did it today with the parents truck... there's an allen head on the top of the AFC (atleast there is on ours) that plug gives you axcess to the star wheel, turn it in and just play with it... it'll effect more of your torque curve than over all top end numbers; once your in full boost the acf doesnt contact the governor linkage so your top numbers wont go up (wont go down either) so i think you'll be much more pleased with the lower end torque associated with a properly tuned AFC to match your top end HP but as most guys will tell you... they just tinker with it there isn't really a "proper adjustment"
