any one make intake heat shields?
 
where do i get one or is it easy to make one? how much power would you loose if you didnt have one? Any one do some testing with and with out it?:humm:

i built one out of sheet metal once but it was so flimsy i threw it out, i know there is a company here that makes them or you can print the template from

so what do you guys think how much power would you loose if you didnt run a heat shield? a large amount?

you may not loose power but you will loose efficientcy with hot air

im not an expert on air flow but i would think colder air would be much more efficient than warm air

Cold/cool air is denser and makes more power.
